Description
FERPAL is a stacking high-speed door. The flexible curtain rises vertically and folds in layers in the top guide, pulled by belts and a barrel. This suits very wide openings, where a simple roll-up would need an oversized hood.
Where it is used
It closes logistics halls, tall workshops and facades exposed to wind. The motor can be at the front or on the side. A photocell barrier, with an optional resistive edge at the bottom, reverses the descent if an obstacle is detected.
Technical characteristics
- Vertical opening by stacking the curtain
- Clear width from 2,000 to 5,000 mm, or up to 7,500 mm depending on the version
- Clear height up to 5,000 mm, or 7,500 mm depending on the version
- Speed of 0.7 to 0.9 m/s, up to 1.2 m/s optional
- Polyester AT 1100 dtex curtain, PVC coated, 900 g/m2
- Tensile strength 4,000 N/5 cm
- Three-phase motor from 1.1 to 1.8 kW, IP 54, from -20 °C to +40 °C
- Indoor and outdoor use
Standards and installation
The door is designed to EN 13241 for operating force and reversal. The elevation on the sheet shows the head projection, up to 7,950 mm with a side motor, so the lintel can be allowed for before construction.
