Description
The Metacon-Next RGS fire roller shutter closes large openings without using side parking space. Galvanised steel slats with a fire-resistant core run in side guides and provide a rating up to EI(2) 60. It replaces a curtain or a hinged door when the width or height exceeds the usual limits.
Where it is used
It is used to compartment warehouses, plant rooms, car parks and corridors in commercial or industrial buildings. The barrel sits at the lintel, and the motor stays accessible for maintenance.

Standards and installation
The curtain is linked to a control panel with up, down and emergency stop. Daily cycles must stay within the sheet’s limits for the opening size. The motor and panel photos show the equipment to allow for in the plant room.
