Rideaux coupe-feu EI 30 - Ei 180

This fire curtain closes a wide opening without a hinged door. The curtain drops in the guides and restores the compartment on alarm or power loss.

Where it is used

Warehouses, car parks, corridors and plant rooms use it when the opening is too wide for a leaf door. Installed examples show a lintel box and continuous guides.

Technical characteristics

• Range EI 30 to EI 180 according to the tested build
• Insulated steel-slat versions rated EI 30 and EI 60
• Documented openings from 500 × 500 mm up to very large bays
• Side guides and a box that leaves the motor accessible
• Moderate travel speed, closing linked to detection

Standards and installation

EN 1634-1 for the test and EN 13501-2 for the rating. Box space and guide alignment decide whether the curtain drops cleanly.
