Description
The retractable dock shelter closes the gap between the facade and the truck body. It protects the load from cold, wind, rain and heat, and cuts the building’s energy use. It is especially useful where the cold chain must be held right up to the tail lift.
Where it is used
The shelter is mounted above the leveler, in front of a sectional, high-speed or sliding door. If the truck docks off centre, the arms let the curtain swing instead of tearing. Light strips on the side curtains guide the driver.

- Anodised aluminium structure and galvanised steel rear frame
- Polyester curtains with PVC coating, black
- Standard size 3,400 × 3,400 mm, front depth 600 mm
- 600 mm side curtains and a 1,000 mm top curtain
- Curtain cold resistance down to -30 °C
- Top sheet about 3,700 g/m2, with good tear resistance
- Rain runs off the curtain instead of into the truck
Standards and installation
The shelter works with wheel guides and bumpers so repeated docking does not pull it apart. The PDF sheet gives the structural opening, hood thickness and curtain build-up.
