Description
Wheel guides help the driver line the trailer up with the dock. A centred approach protects the leveler, the dock shelter and the sides of the vehicle, and improves how the curtains seal. They are the first visual cue before the bumpers.
Where it is used
They are set in front of each loading bay, at the yard entrance or along a row of docks. The open three-support version guides the truck in gradually; the straight two-support version suits approaches that are already channelled.
Technical characteristics
- Open guides with three supports, or straight guides with two supports
- Ready to weld or bolt to a concrete slab
- High-visibility yellow paint, or hot-dip galvanising
- Protection for the leveler, the shelter and the bodywork
Standards and installation
The spacing is set to the track of the site’s trucks. A yellow finish stays readable in daylight and under yard lighting. The sheet drawing gives the lengths and anchor plates.
